In a series of activities carried out by UNDP and Commission of Integrity/ Daspaky Academia, a workshop was held on November 22&23, 2021 under the title of “Corruption Risk Assessment”. 25 employees of the department of protection and transparency from both commissions of integrity in Kurdistan region and Iraq attended the workshop. UNDP specialists covered in details the concept of corruption and its threats as well as the methods of assessing corruption. The participants enriched the workshop by exchanging valuable ideas and remarks.

Commission of Integrity Kurdistan Regional Government - Iraq: An independent Commission will be responsible for fighting corruption in the Kurdistan Region, and will be under parliamentary scrutiny.
Law No. (3) of (2011) regulates the work of this board, the Board of Trustees of the Kurdistan Region works for:
First: Establish an effective mechanism to uphold the rule of law.
Second: Eliminate the phenomenon of corruption and support the principle of transparency and inclusiveness among all institutions in the region, through legal procedures.
