On Wednesday 4/9/2024, common press conferences of Dr. Ahmed Anwar chairman of commission of integrity of Kurdistan Region and Mr. Haydar Hanoon chairman of commission of integrity of Iraq in the building of commission of integrity in Erbil took place.
In addition of welcoming the Iraqi staff, Dr. Ahmed Anwar ensured on cooperation between both commissions.
Mr. Haydar Hanoon chairman of commission of Iraq expressed his appreciation to his visit and talked about cooperations in Iraq.

Commission of Integrity Kurdistan Regional Government - Iraq: An independent Commission will be responsible for fighting corruption in the Kurdistan Region, and will be under parliamentary scrutiny.
Law No. (3) of (2011) regulates the work of this board, the Board of Trustees of the Kurdistan Region works for:
First: Establish an effective mechanism to uphold the rule of law.
Second: Eliminate the phenomenon of corruption and support the principle of transparency and inclusiveness among all institutions in the region, through legal procedures.
