On 10-12/9/2024, Dr. Ahmed Anwar chairman of commission of integrity of Kurdistan region participated in a second Arabic conference for integrity and good governance in Baghdad.
The conference took place with the presence of chairman of commission of integrity of Iraq and representatives of other countries.
It's worth stating that, the conference was arranged between commission of integrity of Iraq, UNDP, European Union and Arabic association (Arab League).
Commission of Integrity Kurdistan Regional Government - Iraq: An independent Commission will be responsible for fighting corruption in the Kurdistan Region, and will be under parliamentary scrutiny.
Law No. (3) of (2011) regulates the work of this board, the Board of Trustees of the Kurdistan Region works for:
First: Establish an effective mechanism to uphold the rule of law.
Second: Eliminate the phenomenon of corruption and support the principle of transparency and inclusiveness among all institutions in the region, through legal procedures.
