On 12/9/2024 in Baghdad, Dr. Ahmed Anwar chairman of commission of integrity, Dr. Adnan Abdulla general director of prevention and transparency department and Nasih Abdulla manager of qualitative insurance visited board of supreme audit of Iraq.
In the meeting with Amar Subhi chairman of board of supreme audit of Iraq discussed many important issues.
They ensured on relations between commission and board of supreme audit of Iraq.
Commission of Integrity Kurdistan Regional Government - Iraq: An independent Commission will be responsible for fighting corruption in the Kurdistan Region, and will be under parliamentary scrutiny.
Law No. (3) of (2011) regulates the work of this board, the Board of Trustees of the Kurdistan Region works for:
First: Establish an effective mechanism to uphold the rule of law.
Second: Eliminate the phenomenon of corruption and support the principle of transparency and inclusiveness among all institutions in the region, through legal procedures.
