Chairman of commission of integrity of Kurdistan region, on 11/9/2024 visited commission of integrity of Iraq.
He was welcomed by Haydar Hanoon chairman of commission of integrity of Iraq.
They discussed about the relations between both commissions and more cooperation.
Later on letter of appreciation were exchanged between both commissions.
Commission of Integrity Kurdistan Regional Government - Iraq: An independent Commission will be responsible for fighting corruption in the Kurdistan Region, and will be under parliamentary scrutiny.
Law No. (3) of (2011) regulates the work of this board, the Board of Trustees of the Kurdistan Region works for:
First: Establish an effective mechanism to uphold the rule of law.
Second: Eliminate the phenomenon of corruption and support the principle of transparency and inclusiveness among all institutions in the region, through legal procedures.
