Dr. Ahmed Anwer thanked and appreciate ministry of higher education and UNDP for their cooperation with COI in fighting corruption, Dr. Aram Mhamed also showed their support for fighting corruption, also Dr. Yama Torabi UNDP’s representative showed his support for the shared projects with COI.
In these two days Dr. Nazar Berkoty who is expert from UNDP has presented topics for the participants.

Commission of Integrity Kurdistan Regional Government - Iraq: An independent Commission will be responsible for fighting corruption in the Kurdistan Region, and will be under parliamentary scrutiny.
Law No. (3) of (2011) regulates the work of this board, the Board of Trustees of the Kurdistan Region works for:
First: Establish an effective mechanism to uphold the rule of law.
Second: Eliminate the phenomenon of corruption and support the principle of transparency and inclusiveness among all institutions in the region, through legal procedures.
