On 17/8/2023 chairman of commission of integrity of Kurdistan region visited board of supreme audit of Iraq in Baghdad, he was welcomed by Dr. Amar Subhi chairman and his deputy.
In the meeting in addition to congratulating Dr. Amar for his inauguration as chairman they ensured on negotiation and cooperation between both sides.
Commission of Integrity Kurdistan Regional Government - Iraq: An independent Commission will be responsible for fighting corruption in the Kurdistan Region, and will be under parliamentary scrutiny.
Law No. (3) of (2011) regulates the work of this board, the Board of Trustees of the Kurdistan Region works for:
First: Establish an effective mechanism to uphold the rule of law.
Second: Eliminate the phenomenon of corruption and support the principle of transparency and inclusiveness among all institutions in the region, through legal procedures.
