Chairman of commission of Integrity of Kurdistan Region states that, in 2020 they continuously observed the corruption cases and guided the cases to the courts, on Wednesday 9/12 Dr. Ahmed Anwar stated in a press conference that, Anti-Corruption is ongoing in Kurdistan Region and the total amount of corruption cases are 102 cases which were taken to assize and magistrate court
He stated more by saying, there are 68 cases of news telling by citizens and 168 legal cases and the amount was less due to the lack of going to work, 85 cases were taken to courts and 26 people got punishment and 158 cases are in the process of judgment.
He also stated that 27 cases in Erbil taken to assize court, 30 in Sulaymaniah, 45 in Duhok and 56 cases were taken to magistrate court.
He clarified that, there are cases which general directors got involved in it and they got their punishment too, 5 directors, 1 general director, 14 employees, 1 police officer and many more also got involved and were proven.
