A staff of British consulate visited chairman of commission of integrity on Tuesday 14/6/2022, Dr. Ahmed Anwar chairman of commission of integrity of Kurdistan region with the presence of the manager of the office of the chairman of commission welcomed a staff of British consulate in Iraq.
The staff of British consulate consisted of Peter Haus consultant, Eleanor Sbunar manager of CSSF program and James Charlton head of political group in British consulate.
Their visit in addition to cooperate with commission of integrity was to discuss about cooperation box of United Nations for working on Anti-Corruption and preventing money laundry crimes in Iraq.
In the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Ahmed Anwar chairman of commission of Integrity of Kurdistan region presented a summary of duties of commission of integrity and stated that commission took steps for Anti-Corruption with the little ability that it has.
And clarified that, England has an important role in the area and we highly appreciate if they can cooperate in Anti-Corruption field and have their own project which can serve strategically.
Chairman of commission ensured on that in addition to opening different training courses, but strategic project that serves Anti-Corruption can be done by England.
Mr. Peter Haus, stated that their country want to cooperate commission of integrity in Anti-Corruption field by implementing cooperation projects and opening training courses.
He also stated that, they cooperate commission of Integrity of Iraq a lot and they want Kurdistan to be a part of it now.
British staff appreciated the duties of commission of integrity of Kurdistan region and they revealed that a special staff were send from England whom now works in consulate on Anti-Corruption of finance and will cooperate commission of integrity in future.
