In 17/10/2022 Head of COI Dr.Ahmed Anwar and director general of department of prevention and transparency Dr. Adnan Abdualla Rashed welcomed Chawi Zanko organization for fighting corruption .
In this meeting the mentioned organization submitted some reports to the head of COI and Director General, to be reviewed by their highness because COI has a major role in this field.
At the end COI’s Head and Director General showed their willingness to help and cooperate with the mentioned organization
Commission of Integrity Kurdistan Regional Government - Iraq: An independent Commission will be responsible for fighting corruption in the Kurdistan Region, and will be under parliamentary scrutiny.
Law No. (3) of (2011) regulates the work of this board, the Board of Trustees of the Kurdistan Region works for:
First: Establish an effective mechanism to uphold the rule of law.
Second: Eliminate the phenomenon of corruption and support the principle of transparency and inclusiveness among all institutions in the region, through legal procedures.
