In 28/6/2023, Dr. Ahmed Anwar chairman of commission of integrity of Kurdistan region with the companion of Bayan Sami Abdulrahman representative of Kurdistan region government in Washington visited judge of Washington.
Zia faruq judge of Washington welcomed Dr. Ahmed Anwar and they discussed about the system of American justice, the ways of investigation and capias of incrimination of the accused of corruption in the meeting.
Commission of Integrity Kurdistan Regional Government - Iraq: An independent Commission will be responsible for fighting corruption in the Kurdistan Region, and will be under parliamentary scrutiny.
Law No. (3) of (2011) regulates the work of this board, the Board of Trustees of the Kurdistan Region works for:
First: Establish an effective mechanism to uphold the rule of law.
Second: Eliminate the phenomenon of corruption and support the principle of transparency and inclusiveness among all institutions in the region, through legal procedures.
