Dear ministers, officials, general directors and representatives of the institutions of Kurdistan region
Dear consular, representatives of local and foreign organizations, media and present people, under the name of commission of integrity of Kurdistan region I warmly welcome all of you for declaring the system of digital instructions of disclosing assets which implemented by the cooperation of British consulate in Iraq through Adam Smith company with cooperation of UNDP organization.
The subject of disclosing assets is due to a general system for all governance which results to prevent the crimes of unfair achievement by administrative officials in this country, which now many parts of the process will manage prudence steps because it isn’t that long that the activities of service is digitalized and there are many steps left to take over all fields.
Ladies and gentlemen, prevention in our world today has a significant place, preventing and ruining this ground will lead to developing corruption in society, it seems providing a good governance which contains transparence, inspection and responsibility in providing the mechanism of democracy in building governance institutions.
Providing the basis of vocational, workmanship, integrity, honesty in establishing and appointing the employees of the government another important point of providing the basis of good governance is a must for implementation.
Another point of the difference in integrity and governance system, having observational institutions which cooperate in participating the process of governance, another important need is passing (success) the process of good governance.

Corruption is the most dangerous disease, it wastes hundreds billion dollars according to international organizations, will go to the pockets of corruptors and normal people will be deprived, developing world in the field of relations and bank system, culprits develop new ways for corruption. That's why all countries in the world published united nation's agreement program for anti-corruption and activated from this century, Iraq became an official member in 2007 which now the parts (paragraph) of the agreement are a part of the legal system of Iraq and Kurdistan region.
The corruption level in Iraq is high, according to the transparency international organization report which takes 20th level of the most corrupted countries, this shows that till now anti-corruption has many steps ahead and all institutions in this country must participate this process.
We've been working in this field for many years, and till now corruption is a threat on all governance process and takes a bad role in lessening trust of citizens for institutions, in addition to attempts and reforms in public sector, but we still think have a lot ahead of us for lessening corruption and preventing wasting public asset. Commission of integrity prepared the national strategy for anti-corruption and thankfully was accepted by the council of ministries of Kurdistan region in 2021 and all institutions take their role in this process.
In future we publish the first report about the steps of implementing the strategy and will be the first report in Iraq.
Ladies and gentleman, Kurdistan region is in the process of election and a new course of Kurdistan parliament, which is foreordain for renewing rightfulness of institutions , according to us providing more basis of a good governance, providing the basis of a developed country and continuous reforms the basis of all sectors and strengthening observational institutions and strengthening judicial authority can develop the process of anti-corruption and strengthen the basis of legal and constitution.
