In 28/2/2024 a ceremony for digital process of disclosing financial interest by commission of integrity in Sheraton hotel took place and many officials were participated
In the frame of the process of disclosing financial interest according to the law number 3 in 2011 and amended law number 7 in 2014 within given authority to commission of integrity, that's why commission digitalizes the process.
The project with the cooperation of British consulate by '' cooperation institution for Iraq'' will be implemented with commission of integrity of Kurdistan region and the first step will be an experience for six up to one year.
The benefits of digitalizing the form of disclosing financial interest which will be fastening the process and preventing excessive expenditure, this system will disclose the excessiveness of the assets of officials whom are responsible for filling the form of disclosing financial interest according to law, also will upgrade the transparency in Kurdistan region and till now such project wasn’t implemented in Iraq.
Digitalizing the process needs more cooperation from related institutions in addition to training the employees of system and amending instructions of disclosing financial interest.
Commission of integrity of Kurdistan region will continue to prevent corruption and upgrading transparency level.
