In 3/10/2022 till 6/10/2022 some of COI’s investigators participated in a workshop that has been delivered by UNDP about (capacity building on the development, investigation and prosecution of crimes of illicit enrichment) in Erbil city.
In this workshop they have discussed the illicit enrichment and the mechanism of investigation and trial of the accused.

Commission of Integrity Kurdistan Regional Government - Iraq: An independent Commission will be responsible for fighting corruption in the Kurdistan Region, and will be under parliamentary scrutiny.
Law No. (3) of (2011) regulates the work of this board, the Board of Trustees of the Kurdistan Region works for:
First: Establish an effective mechanism to uphold the rule of law.
Second: Eliminate the phenomenon of corruption and support the principle of transparency and inclusiveness among all institutions in the region, through legal procedures.
