On Wednesday 25/1/2023, Dr. Ahmed Anwar chairman of commission of integrity of Kurdistan region welcomed MR. Munir Zaarur manager of planning and politic division of Middle East and Africa in universal journalist federation with each of Mr. Azad Hamadamin captain of journalist syndicate of Kurdistan and Mr. Bzhar Hakim deputy of captain whom they visited the commission .
In the meeting, each of Miss. Hazha Omer manager of the office of the chairman of commission and Mr. Sarxel Hashm manager of media division in commission were present and they ensured on the importance of the role of media and journalists in anti-corruption field.
Dr. Ahmed Anwar chairman of commission of integrity of Kurdistan region presented a summary about commission's duties, stated that commission according to law and establishments media had an important role in publishing news and information of commission of integrity in the past.
He also stated that journalists must be prepared for journalism and they must be a part of disclosing corruption.
Mr. Munir Zaarur, in addition to his presentation about the summary of their duties of federation in the past, stated that, as there are economic and political journalists, there must be journalists whom are special to anti-corruption.
He expressed his willingness to open different courses for journalist about this field; they worked in other countries about this field in the past.
