Head of COI and UNDP’s new resident representative had a meeting and debated some shared subjects.
07/02/2023 under supervision of chairman of COI Dr.Ahmed Anwer within the presence of director general of department of prevention and transparency Dr. Adnan Abdualla Rasheed and director of Despaky Academy had a meeting with UNDP’s new resident representative Auke Lootsma and the delegation . In the meeting DR.Ahmed Anwer congratulate Auke Lootsma for his new position and thanked and appreciate UNDP cooperating with COI to develop COI’s capacity in fighting corruption.
Auke Lootsma promised that UNDP’s cooperation with COI will be continuous and will have more shared projects with COI in the future.

Commission of Integrity Kurdistan Regional Government - Iraq: An independent Commission will be responsible for fighting corruption in the Kurdistan Region, and will be under parliamentary scrutiny.
Law No. (3) of (2011) regulates the work of this board, the Board of Trustees of the Kurdistan Region works for:
First: Establish an effective mechanism to uphold the rule of law.
Second: Eliminate the phenomenon of corruption and support the principle of transparency and inclusiveness among all institutions in the region, through legal procedures.
