In 28/9/2022 a meeting about implementing the national strategy of fighting corruption arranged under supervision of Director general of department of prevention and transparency Dr.Adnan Abdualla Rasheed and his delegation and a delegation from ministry of peshmarga.
After debating they have decided on some decision that will work om it in cooperation in the future.
Commission of Integrity Kurdistan Regional Government - Iraq: An independent Commission will be responsible for fighting corruption in the Kurdistan Region, and will be under parliamentary scrutiny.
Law No. (3) of (2011) regulates the work of this board, the Board of Trustees of the Kurdistan Region works for:
First: Establish an effective mechanism to uphold the rule of law.
Second: Eliminate the phenomenon of corruption and support the principle of transparency and inclusiveness among all institutions in the region, through legal procedures.
